Designer Whey Protein is the signature protein powder of ESN in Germany, featuring all of the traditional ingredients and nutrition of your typical entry in the saturated category. Like many other brands in Europe, ESN has a huge number of flavors available for the essential supplement, including standard tastes like Milk Chocolate and Vanilla Ice Cream. In a few days, Designer Whey is getting another flavor, which is common here but not in Europe.
ESN is trying its hand at the classic celebration flavor, birthday cake, and if it follows the usual recipe, it’ll blend vanilla cake batter, sweet cream, and crunchy rainbow sprinkles. We’re not sure if that’s the experience the brand is shooting for, but we imagine it’s close, and it’ll have Designer Whey’s standard 22g of protein in a 30g serving to 115 calories. The extension is arriving this Wednesday, it’ll be titled B’Day Cake, and it is only going to be around for a limited time.
