Liquid Death is known for its canned water catalog as well as its more recently released Liquid Death Energy Drink featuring what it calls an unextreme level of caffeine. As good and as popular as those products are, it is equally known for its collaborations, which usually have a loose or sometimes no connection at all back to its beverages. Its latest partnership is one of those occasions, as Liquid Death has got together with the music service Spotify.
You may be wondering what on earth these two could do together, and the answer is an urn with a Bluetooth speaker built into it so you can “redefine the afterlife experience” as Liquid Death says. The idea is you indeed fill the urn with a loved one’s ashes, as you would an ordinary urn then seal it. You can then connect to the speaker at the top and loop a Spotify playlist filled with their favorite music or you can use Spotify’s Eternal Playlist Generator.
The Eternal Playlist Generator requires you to answer a short set of questions, and in turn, you get a custom playlist suitable to play from a speaker on top of your loved one’s ashes for eternity. You can purchase the custom urn, which features the Liquid Death and Spotify logos on the front, straight from the canned water company’s online store at $495.
