Swedish functional powerhouse ProPud from NJIE has really found its stride with its many different, unique flavors that have been inspired by traditional foods and treats. Before the end of last year, the brand gave us another example of that local inspiration in a Hallongrotta Protein Bar, based on the raspberry-filled shortbread cookie of the same name. ProPud is starting 2026 with more of that in a delicious-sounding Marängsviss Protein Milkshake.
The newest flavor of ProPud’s ready-to-drink product has been crafted to communicate all of the signature tastes of Marängsviss, another traditional Swedish dessert that layers vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and occasionally banana. The newly released Marängsviss ProPud Protein Milkshake is targeting each of those flavors, including the smooth vanilla, sweet whipped cream, and a seamless infusion of fruity banana.
While the Marängsviss ProPud Protein Milkshake may be inspired by a dessert, nutritionally it is still a protein shake, packing 20g of complete and quality protein from milk, just 5g of fat, a moderately high 16g of carbohydrates, all of that sugar, and 194 calories. As mentioned, ProPud has really found its stride with local dishes and snacks as flavors, and we’re excited to see that trend being brought into the menu of its delicious ProPud Milkshake, as previously it was really only doing them for its protein bar.
