Nutrata turns Charge into a protein bar in its first of many collaborations with Nestlé

Nutrata Nestle Charge Protein Bar

Health and nutrition companies in Brazil have been picking up on the authentic collaboration strategy over the last few years, although it has been doing it with a bit of local flair. The likes of Nutrata has officially partnered with foods and treats more known in its home country than here in the US, including Havanna and Bacio di Latte. This month, that particular brand has got together with an international corporation in Nestlé, but with one of its Brazilian treats.

Nutrata and Nestlé have recreated the delicious Charge candy bar as a protein snack in the Nutrata Charge Protein Bar. It features a similar build to the sguar-loaded original with a smooth, doughy base covered by a layer of gooey caramel and peanuts, and all wrapped in rich milk chocolate. The health and nutrition brand has given the product its typical functional food highlights, packing more protein at 11g in a small 45g piece, with minimal sugar and calories.

While a protein version of the Nestlé Charge candy bar is exciting, this is apparently just the beginning. There are many other protein launches planned between Nutrata and the food giant, and we can’t wait to see how they all turn out. We’ve had a good amount of the Brazilian brand’s protein snacks, and feel Nestlé’s candy bars are in good hands, with complete confidence that the Nutrata Charge Protein Bar tastes as good as it looks in marketing.
