Battle Bars promises more protein and fewer calories in its new and improved bar

Battle Bars New And Improved 2

The protein bar brand Battle Bars has revealed that there are some big changes on the horizon, although we are still a couple of months away from seeing how all of that looks. Basically, the functional food company has said that it is preparing to release a new and improved version two of its flagship protein bar. The original is not too bad as it is, featuring a Rice Krispies Treat-type build and covered in a delicious, flavorful outer layer.

As far as promises go for Battle Bars 2.0, as it is being referred to, it seems as though absolutely everything is being changed. The brand is saying that the product will have more protein, beyond the 17g you currently get, and fewer calories, which currently sit at 220 for the majority of the flavors. The typical balance in this sort of functional food is 20g of protein to around 200 calories, and that’s where we’re guessing the new Battle Bar will land.

Battle Bars is currently planning to launch its second version in a little less than two months on the first day of April. Since the brand has put some of the details out this early, we’re guessing we’ll get more bits and pieces like this in the coming weeks, leading up to the rollout of Battle Bars 2.0. Whether that’s a look at the ingredients, the improved macros, how the product is built, or any new flavors we’re for, we’ll all have to wait and see.
