After being on the market for five long years, RYSE has decided to revamp its core pre-workout supplement, Loaded Pre. The brand has quite a few different competitors in the pre-workout category, from its high-end premium offering, Godzilla, and stacked stimulant-free Pump Daddy, to the loaded CEO Pre-Workout, Pump Cap Max, and then the cost-effective Loaded Pre. Set to replace that tomorrow is the sequel, Loaded Pre Max.
While the ingredient variety hasn’t really gotten that much bigger, for Loaded Pre Max, RYSE has really stepped up the dosages and efficacy of the several components it has in there. The pump side of things seems to have gotten the most attention, as, instead of just citrulline being in there at 4.5g, the Max sequel gives you 33% more of the common ingredient at 6g a serving, plus the increasingly popular PeptiPump at 200mg a serving.
| Ingredient | Per Serving |
| Citrulline | 6,000mg |
| Beta-Alanine | 3,200mg |
| L-Tyrosine | 2,000mg |
| Alpha-GPC | 300mg |
| Caffeine Anhydrous | 270mg |
| PeptiPump | 200mg |
| AstraGin | 50mg |
| zumXR Delayed Caffeine | 30mg |
For performance and endurance, RYSE has kept the ever-present beta-alanine much the same, at 3.2g, then, for focus and cognition, in place of Cognizin is 300mg of alpha-gpc and a solid 2g of tyrosine. Rounding it all out are the energizing components, which no longer include calming theanine, just straight caffeine with 270mg of anhydrous and 30mg of delayed zumXR caffeine, for a combined 300mg, a pinch under the original.
Overall, RYSE’s Loaded Pre Max is very similar on apper in the performance, energy, and focus department, although there should be a nice step up in muscle pumps. More citrulline and the added power of PeptiPump should ensure noticeably better pumps, at least compared to Max’s predecessor. The supplement is going live on the brand’s website tomorrow with five fewer servings at 25 per tub in three tasty flavors to start.
