Smash has found great success with its edible creatine supplement simply named Creatine Gummies, similar to other sports nutrition companies that have played around with the format. It does have other products available, although the creatine is currently its only offering in the edible format. That is about to change, as the growing brand has revealed that it is about to get into the competitive pre-workout category and that innovation will be in gummies.
The upcoming Smash Preworkout Gummies is going to bring together a variety of typical pre-workout ingredients to support pumps, performance, focus, and energy. The catch with gummies is the amount of room you have for actives, which is why they feature straightforward formulas. That is somewhat the case in Smash’s second edible supplement, but it has done a good job considering the constraints of the format.

In a serving of four pieces of Smash Preworkout Gummies, you get a gram each of citrulline and beta-alanine for pumps and performance, a light 600mg of glycerol, 500mg of tyrosine and 100mg of theanine for focus, and finally 200mg of caffeine. The caffeine leaves open the possibility to double serve, taking you to 2g of citrulline and 800mg of tyrosine, and still keeps the caffeine at a manageable amount of 400mg; however, it does halve the servings.
As mentioned, considering the difficulty and space the gummy format has, Smash has packed a reasonable amount into its second gummy outing. There is a very clear complexity trade-off compared to a traditional powder pre-workout, something we think consumers might be happy to make for the delicious gummy experience. Smash Preworkout Gummies will be making their way to market soon in two flavors, with 25 regular or 12 double servings.
