V8 Energy Drink now has a sugar-free version with all of the same key features

V8 Energy Drink Zero Sugar

V8 is a mainstream brand that is well known for its various juices, blends, and nutritious solutions, all in the convenient beverage format. It does also take part in a category our audience is much more familiar with in the energizing V8 Energy Drink. It is made with vegetable and fruit juice, contains various vitamins, and is driven by black and green tea as sources of natural caffeine, providing 80mg in a compact 8oz can.

If you’re like us and simply don’t drink full-sugar, high-calorie energy drinks due to how good the better-for-you options are, you may not have even considered V8’s competitor. Starting this year, health-conscious consumers can now grab a can of V8 Energy, or more specifically, the newly released V8 Energy Drink Zero Sugar, which is practically the same as the brand’s original, but without the sugar and calories.

The Zero Sugar edition of the V8 Energy Drink isn’t as heavy on juice, resulting in no sugar and less than a gram of carbohydrates per can, and instead of 50 calories, there are five. The caffeine is still a light 80mg from black and green tea, matching a cup of coffee. The better-for-you alternative has rolled out into the likes of Amazon and Walmart in three sweet flavors in Strawberry Lemonade, Black Cherry, and Blue Raspberry.
