Emerging newcomer Fire Up infuses its energy drink with 31g of collagen-based protein

Fire Up Protein Energy Drink

The energy drink category has rapidly expanded over the last several years, and more recently, so has the world of ready-to-drink protein supplements. Even with all of that action and attention, newcomers are still entering the industry, and many of them are bringing their own unique take. The still relatively young Fire Up is one of those standouts, with an energy drink that doubles as a protein-packed beverage.

The Fire Up Energy Drink features B vitamins, taurine, ginseng, gurana, and 112mg of caffeine of fast-acting, energizing caffeine to take care of the traditional energy drink experience. Where the brand and beverage stand out is that, alongside those active ingredients, there is a good amount of protein. The newcomer has squeezed in 31g of protein into every can, although it is worth noting that all of the protein is from collagen, not your standard complete sources like whey concentrate or milk protein.

The star beverage from Fire Up is essentially a collagen-based, clear protein drink combined with energizing components. It would’ve been nice to have whey isolate as the primary source, like most protein drinks, or even beta-lactoglobulin, like the many clear protein beverages. That aside, if Fire Up’s Energy formula sounds like something you want to try, you can grab it straight from its online store at a premium $16.99 for a pack of four, or if you go up to a classic pack of 12, the cost drops to $3.19 each.
