MET-Rx and John Cena build on their partnership in the new Level-Up campaign

Metrx John Cena Level Up Protein Bar

MET-Rx and the legendary wrestler turned successful actor, as well as health and fitness icon, John Cena, have joined forces many times over the years for promotions and campaigns surrounding the brand as a whole and some specific products. That continues into this year with another well-rounded partnership from the legacy company MET-Rx and Cena that centers around one of the largest protein bars on the market.

MET-Rx has extended its long-running partnership with John Cena through a new “Level-Up” campaign, leaning into the brand’s 30-year performance heritage and its position as the number one meal replacement name in sports nutrition. Centered around its giant Big 100 Bar packing around 30g of protein, the campaign blends nostalgic ’90s gaming, MET-Rx’s giant and nutritious 100g bar, and, of course, the man himself, John Cena.

“Leveling up is about showing up, putting in the work, and finding ways to enjoy the process,” says John Cena. “MET-Rx has been part of my routine for a long time, and this campaign is all about bringing some fun into the Level Up process while still putting in the work. You show up, you train hard, you power up, and you keep moving forward. And trust me, we’re just getting started.”
