Myoplex makes a Maltesers-like protein snack with a gram of protein apiece

Myoplex Marziplex

We just had the Brazilian brand Myoplex in headlines with the introduction of its quick and convenient meal replacement supplement, Complete Nutrition. This week, the growing company is back in the news with a completely different type of product and an even more different format. Marziplex is the innovation from Myoplex hitting shelves here in March, which is a protein snack that is far from your traditional bar, chips, or cookie.

Myoplex’s Marziplex comes in a small 50g box, and inside is a bunch of crispy and crunchy, marzipan-flavored balls covered in rich and sweet milk chocolate. In a box of ten pieces, you get 10g of protein, so basically a gram per piece, a total of 24g of carbohydrates, 2.8g of that sugar, 12.6g of fat, and 206 calories. It’s not a supremely low-calorie snack with 10g of protein to just over 200 calories, making it more of a better-for-you alternative or protein treat.

The format is the standout for Marziplex, as there are only a few markets around the world where you’ll see even one brand turn the Maltesers-style format into a protein-infused snack, and Myoplex has just made its home country of Brazil one of those places. You can grab the marzipan and chocolate-flavored innovation straight from Myoplex’s website at R$24.90 (4.76 USD) for a single 50g box of ten sweet and crunchy pieces.
