Orion previews and taste tests its second-ever supplement at this year’s Arnold Expo

Orion Pre

This past weekend, the growing newcomer Orion made its second appearance in our premium Stack3d Pavilion at the Arnold Sports Festival. The brand took up twice the space it had last year, still sampling, giving away, and selling bags of its flagship supplement, the delicious Orion Whey Protein. Almost midden away at the brand’s booth was a much smaller product, also in a bag, but on closer inspection, it is most definitely not a protein powder.

At this year’s hugely successful Arnold Expo, Orion gave fans the chance to try its first completely new supplement outside of its original Whey Protein, in Orion Pre. It is, of course, a stimulant-backed pre-workout, and like its debut product, it is clean, reliable, and an ideal entry in the category. Orion hasn’t overloaded the facts panel or thrown in the kitchen sink for Pre; it has eight key ingredients at respectable dosages to support all of the core pre-workout benefits.

Orion Pre Label

Driving performance and pumps in Orion Pre is 6g of citrulline malate, 2.5g of betaine, a gram of taurine, and 2g of beta-alanine. Then, for the sensory benefits of energy and focus, there is 800mg of tyrosine, 300mg of alpha-gpc, and 200mg each of caffeine and theanine for smooth, calming energy. Just like Orion’s Whey Protein, Pre has all of the necessary tools to get the job done for a pre-workout, supporting pumps, performance, energy, and focus.

If you didn’t make it out to Columbus, Ohio, this year for the Arnold Sports Festival and wanted to try Orion’s second-ever supplement and first-ever pre-workout, you will have to wait a bit. The brand was actually just testing out the product at the Arnold Expo and refining the flavoring and packaging. The formula won’t change, but the more experiential things will for its official launch, expected to take place sometime later this year.
