RYSE reveals that protein-packed and inclusion-filled ice cream is in the works

Ryse Working On Protein Ice Cream

Over the years, we’ve seen RYSE continue to shift and evolve with the modern health and nutrition market, coming a long way since its original selection of Loaded Protein, Pre-Workout, BCAA+EAA, and Protein Pancakes. The popular brand has dabbled in the world of functional food on one occasion in the RYSE Loaded Protein Bar, which was eventually discontinued, but it did take a run at the category and edible format.

According to RYSE, it is about to get back into functional foods, and in a very different manner than it did in the Loaded Protein Bar. This time around, it is going the frozen route and has confirmed that protein ice cream loaded with delicious inclusions is in the works. The brand hasn’t put any information out there other than it’s working on the concept, and even hints at the possibility of high-protein ice cream on a stick.

It is surprising that RYSE is going in this direction, as protein ice cream is not a format any supplement company in North America has found great success with. There have been attempts; however, it is a whole different type of product and distribution situation. We look forward to seeing whatever RYSE cooks up, but we also can’t help but think this might be building to something with April Fools’ Day one week away.
