The pride of South Africa, USN, has teamed up with another hugely popular consumer packaged goods brand in the country, with Clover’s flavored milk line Super M. The two popular names have created a ready-to-drink protein shake that blends the best of both sides of the collaboration. The innovation brings USN’s familiar high-protein, muscle-building macros and merges them with Clover’s signature Super M format of a delicious milkshake.
The nutrition profile in the USN and Clover Super M Protein Shake starts with 22g of quality protein in a compact 300ml bottle, a rather balanced 15g of carbohydrates, practically all of which is sugar, 5.1g of fat, and just under 200 calories at 195 to 197. The sugar is definitely on the high side, although seeing as this is a collaboration with an experienced flavored milk brand, we’re taking that as confirmation that it’ll taste close to regular Super M beverages.
USN and Clover are currently pushing out the Super M Protein Shake across South Africa, into many of their major retail partners like the supermarket Checkers. There are two flavors for the first-ever availability of the high-protein beverage in a traditional Chocolate and something a bit more intricate in a Vanilla Caramel Super M Protein Shake.
