Prime Protein Shake launches in Canada in an 18-pack at Costco for $29

Costco Canada Prime Protein Shake Bundle

The Prime Protein Shake kicked off the year for the beverage giant Prime, sending it down a whole new direction and after a slightly different audience. The product is a clean, lean, and tasty ready-to-drink protein supplement that packs 32g of quality protein from milk, just 2g of sugar, and an impressive 150 calories. The expansion has made its way into many different stores and stockists since its debut, and more recently, it has found itself in other markets.

The largest and closest market to the U.S. is, of course, our friends to the north, Canada, where consumers can now get their hands on a genuine Canadian version of the Prime Protein Shake, complete with dual language branding. The interesting thing about the launch of the protein beverage there is that it’s not being put into all of the same places; in fact, Prime has initially rolled out the Prime Protein Shake in Canada at Costco in a giant 18-can value pack.

The price of the 18-can Prime Protein Shake bundle is $39.99 (29.06 USD), well below what you pay for the ready-to-drink protein solution here in the U.S., where the likes of Amazon have a case for practically the same price at $29.99. The one catch with the flavored-milk style beverage at Costco in Canada is that it’s not a variety pack, but all one flavor, and that is Cookies & Cream.
