Amazon Basics drops another great-value single-ingredient supplement

We just saw the online giant Amazon launch its very simple and straightforward house brand, Amazon Basics, in the creatine category with its ingredient-named Creatine Monohydrate Powder. There is nothing special about the supplement formula-wise, with a 300g or 60-serving tub of classic creatine to support muscle strength and performance. The big standout was the cost of it all, as regularly it is $17.99, although it quickly dropped under a sale, falling to just $10.

Amazon is at it again, pushing Amazon Basics even deeper into the world of sports nutrition supplements with another single-ingredient product, similarly common to Creatine Monohydrate Powder and the other recently released standalone item, L-Glutamine. The name of the drop is 2:1:1 BCAA Powder, and it is precisely that, a 300g tub of the three all-important branched chain amino acids at a classic two-to-one ratio of leucine to isoleucine and valine to support recovery.

The price of Amazon Basics’ 2:1:1 BCAA Powder is $21.45, which is not too bad for a bulk unflavored BCAA; however, keep in mind, it can go big on discounts, as it temporarily dropped Creatine Monohydrate Powder by a huge 40%. For now, though, the cost is $21 for BCAA Powder for a sizeable 55 servings at 5.4g of BCAAs apiece, or you can split it up into your own dosage like 30 servings of a much more respectable 10g of BCAAs.
