In the always enjoyable and functionally creative European market, the giant corporation Müller, known for its traditional dairy products, also has a large line of protein-infused foods, including collaborations with the international powerhouse Myprotein. We aren’t talking about one or two things here either; it has a milkshake-like protein beverage, yogurt, pudding, addictively delicious protein mousse, and again, a few other innovations made with Myprotein.
This month, Müller has been busy rolling out another protein innovation from its own line in the Müller Xtreme Protein Shot. Interestingly, while the name may have you thinking this is one of your traditional, compact, pocket-sized protein drinks around 100ml, it’s actually more than double that size. The Müller Protein Shot has a volume of 235ml, so it’s not quite a shot, but it still squeezes in plenty of protein at 30g from a blend of milk protein, skimmed milk, and a very small amount of collagen with 3g of fat, 10g of carbohydrates, and 195 calories.
There are three flavors now on the market for Müller’s new Xtreme Protein Shot, and they do sound delicious despite the little liquid you get per bottle to enjoy. The options are Chocolate Peanut Caramel, White Cookie, and Strawberry Cheesecake. Again, this product is out now in Europe, not something you’ll find in every market where the wider Müller name is present, and it very simply gives consumers a faster way to increase their daily protein intake.
