Bodyarmor takes on energy drinks with a blend of electrolytes and a light 60mg of caffeine

Bodyarmor Fit Energy Drink

The legacy sports drink company, Bodyarmor, has entered the exploding energy drink category, and with its reputation and typical approach in beverages, it’s no surprise that it’s brought its own twist to the format. The Bodyarmor Fit Sports Drink is a hybrid of sorts that rolls together electrolytes for hydration and performance, an infusion of caffeine for a touch of uplifting energy, and a better-for-you recipe with zero sugar and low calories.

The all-new Bodyarmor Fit Sports Drink is sparkling, so you expect a bit of fizz, and in terms of functionality, again, it has electrolytes in the mix at a combined 290mg in a single 12oz can. Then, to make it fit in the energy drink category, there is a light 60mg of caffeine, putting it closer to an equal-sized can of Coke Zero than Red Bull. The brand has also tossed in choline for focus and green tea to support metabolism and weight loss.

It’s an interesting take on the energy drink category, although that’s to be expected with Bodyarmor Fit Sports Drink coming from a hydration beverage specialist. The innovation has debuted in five fruity flavors, all sugar-free and just five calories a can. The options are Mixed Berry, Tropical Passionfruit, Citrus Grapefruit, Watermelon Lime, and Orange Mango, and they’re rolling out now to stores and stockists all across the country.
