Dragon Energy adds a flavor called Grenade featuring a pomegranate experience

Grenade Dragon Energy Drink

Dragon Energy hasn’t been overly busy lately when it comes to flavor innovation, at least compared to other competitors in the category, with its last new flavor coming to market earlier this year in a straightforward Watermelon. The brand has been known to do some creative tastes, Peachy Nut being one of the most memorable, featuring a blend of peach, coconut, and vanilla, for something very different from your standard caffeinated beverage.

Almost one year on from Peachy Nut, Dragon has revealed and released Grenade in its local South African market. The name of the extension doesn’t actually say a whole lot, although thankfully, underneath the title on the can itself, we get a flavor description with the rich and slightly tart taste of pomegranate. The product is out now and available in stores with Dragon Energy’s usual 150mg of caffeine, a heavy 18g of sugar, and moderately high 78 calories.
