Redcon1 teams up with the Street Fighter film for a series of character-themed cans

Redcon1 Jolt Energy Drink X Street Fighter

Redcon1’s partnership with Jolt Cola has become one of the more entertaining collaborations in the energy drink space, combining the classic soda’s nostalgic branding with the supplement company’s functional formula. The beverage delivers 200mg of caffeine alongside ingredients like alpha-GPC, taurine, carnitine, and B vitamins, and over the last year, the collaboration has expanded beyond the original Jolt Cola flavor into extensions such as Jolt Root Beer and Dr. Jolt.

In the coming months, the extensive partnership is going in a completely different direction, with Redcon1 and its Jolt Cola energy drink teaming up with the upcoming live-action Street Fighter movie. The collaboration is coming out with a series of temporarily reskinned cans featuring characters from the film and the Street Fighter universe. The list of characters includes Ken, Ryu, Akuma, Chun-Li, Guile, Cammy, Balrog, Vega, M. Bison, and the electric generating beast, Blanka.

Redcon1 has only previewed its special edition Street Fighter Jolt Cola Energy Drink designs, not launched them, although we suspected they’ll be making their way to market in the coming months. The Street Fighter movie itself isn’t making its way to cinemas for another few months, around the middle of October. That gives Redcon1 plenty of time to get them produced and into its distribution network, and there is a QR code attached that links out to some sort of sweepstakes.
