Golden Eagle is a long-running European energy drink from Kosovo-based beverage company Frutex, offering its original caffeine and taurine-powered product alongside several flavor extensions and alternative formats. The legacy competitor has kept its catalog regularly growing right into this month with another fruit-driven release. Golden Eagle has introduced Strawberry Apricot, an intriguing extension with apricot in there, as it is rarely seen in the category.
While Strawberry Apricot is uncommon, there is precedent for it becoming an exceptionally popular energy drink flavor. Red Bull previously combined strawberry and apricot for a seasonal release, and the successful profile ultimately joined its ongoing collection as the Amber Edition.
