Cytosport’s Monster Protein was the brand’s attempt at hitting the increasingly competitive protein blend market. Unfortunately while it did look the part and come from one of the most respected names in the business, it’s cost and serving count saw early irrelevance. Whether or not Cytosport were pushed by the item’s lack of attention, the banned substance free brand forced the protein powder into the faces of supplement users with it’s buy 2 get 1 free deal on BB.com. Since then the specials have not stopped coming, and Cytosport have seen it fit to add a couple of new flavors to Monster Protein. The sad two piece menu of chocolate and vanilla is going to be spiced up with three more options, strawberry, banana, and cookies ‘n’ cream. Currently it seems the trio will only be releasing through the 2lb tub, which is coincidentally the size most of the sales seem to be put on.
