Subway revamps its Fit Fresh menu with options packing up to 35g of protein and under 500 cals

Subway 2025 Fit Fresh Menu

Protein has been worked into a whole host of areas this year, beyond our particular area of health, nutrition, and performance supplements. We’ve seen mainstream brands make a play with high-protein varieties or even innovations that center around a heavier hit of protein. Starbucks made a lot of noise with its protein cold foam and protein milk for customers to drastically raise the protein content of their beverages.

Subway is in following that tune this month with something fans of the fast-food chain will be familiar with in a revamp of its Fresh Fit menu. This is a selection of sub sandwiches that offer a more specific focus on protein and balanced calories, and it’s been around for years. For 2025, Subway has refreshed the collection, with four options that specifically have 20g of protein or more and a calorie count under 500.

The items are six-inch sandwiches with Grilled Chicken & Avocado, Ham & Turkey, Turkey & Ranch Delite, and Seasoned Steak & Avocado. They all have 20g or more protein; the Grilled Chicken actually goes all the way up to 35g, and the calories come in at 450. These are all base options and can be tweaked to your liking, and they’re available now at Subway restaurants, again, under the long-running Fresh Fit menu banner.
