Optimum’s Lead The Whey contest all over, salted caramel Gold Standard coming this fall

Optimum Nutrition reveal salted caramel as their Lead The Whey winner

Voting for Optimum Nutrition’s Lead The Whey competition closed last Tuesday, leaving us hanging for a week until the brand announced their new Gold Standard flavor. In the end it came down to maple bacon, key lime pie and salted caramel. Which despite us wanting to see one of the more unique tastes hit shelves, salted caramel is Optimum’s next 100% Whey flavor. With the smoke cleared and votes all counted, the next step is the one fans are possibly more interested in with the selection of the contest’s winners. For those that didn’t follow, a lot of prize money was up for grabs as well as years supplies of Optimum’s legendary Gold Standard protein powder. The lucky people taking home those prizes will actually be drawn tomorrow so keep an eye on your inbox. As for everyone else or those like us, eager to try the brand’s salted caramel 100% Whey. We are going to be waiting quite some time, as Optimum are not looking to have their Lead The Whey winner on shelves until post Olympia, with a Fall release.
