Image of Gumocracy loser released, caramel macchiato GU Energy Gel looking very real

From Stack3d
Image of GU Energy's caramel macchiato GU released

Earlier in the year GU Energy ran a promotion with the Run Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series asking fans to decide on what their special edition flavor should be. The tastes voters had to choose from were apple cinnamon, caramel macchiato and salted watermelon, of which the latter took the title. Surprisingly an image has now surfaced of one of the two losers produced as an actual GU Gel. The product can be seen in the picture above, which was sent to us and doesn’t seem to have been released by the brand just yet. While the image could very well be a mock up or draft of something that’s not even intended for shelves, the item does appear to be rather real. A confirmation from GU themselves will of course be what we’re looking for to close the door on this one, but if the caramel macchiato GU Energy Gel does turn out to be on the cards. It will be interesting to see how it goes after salted watermelon apparently beat out it’s Gumocracy competitors ‘by a landslide’.
