We mentioned it in this week’s newsletter yesterday and now here it is, the official certification for PES Select Protein. The brand and their one and only protein powder have joined American Muscle’s Premium Whey as our second certified product, proving that what’s on Select’s label is what’s in the supplement.
As per our program rules we had Genysis Labs run a purchased tub of the protein for a total of 22 different ingredients including all the usual free forms aminos acids, taurine and creatine. PES Select as expected showed no signs of any added amino acids or potential spiking ingredients. Moving on to the final test we had done on the product for it’s total amount of protein per serving, Select actually showed up with more than it’s label listed 24g at 24.64g, nearly 3% over.
While it’s almost everyday now that we’re seeing a story pop up on a brand and their allegedly spiked protein powder, we’re going to continue to do our best to find you supplements you can trust.
