The guys over at MET-Rx who last year weren’t overly busy, have unveiled their first new supplement for 2015. To kick off the year the brand have done something that you don’t see too often from major companies with Powdered Peanut Butter. The product is exactly as it’s titled, a peanut butter powder made from ground up peanuts. MET-Rx direct users to use Powdered Peanut Butter in a number of ways including mixing with shakes, baked goods, or simply add water to turn it into a spread. Another thing the brand suggest to keep fans purchasing in-house is mix the powder with their own Pancake Mix to create peanut butter flavored pancakes packed with the goodness of peanut butter. For those interested in the exact macros of MET-Rx Powdered Peanut Butter in each 12g serving (2 tablespoons) you’ll get 5g of protein, 4g of carbohydrates (1g fiber, 1g sugar) and 1.5g of fat with a total of 50 calories. Each tub of the latest from MET-Rx weighs in at 184g, working out to about 15 servings all up. Price on Powdered Peanut Butter is not yet confirmed although will of course be revealed when the supplement officially goes on sale.
