Olympia organizers put together a countdown timer just for Kai Greene

will kai sign

One of the biggest stories from last year went down around the time of the 2015 Mr. Olympia in September. It involved the Predator Kai Greene as he went from team MuscleMeds to his very own supplement company Dynamik Muscle. The story was made even more interesting as Greene didn’t end up competing at the Olympia, despite being a big favorite after coming in second in 2012, 2013 and 2014.

While it’s never exactly been made clear why Kai Greene didn’t step on stage back in September, the big question this year is will he give the 2016 Mr. Olympia a miss? It’s definitely a question fans will likely be asking, as well as one that we’ll actually have an answer to in just over 38 days.

If you’re wondering where we got that number, it’s actually from a countdown clock the Mr. Olympia organizers have put together just for Kai Greene and when his competitor contract needs to be received by. The timer is in fact branded with the hashtag #WillKaiSign, as the Olympia contracts have obviously been sent out and do need to be returned by the 13th of next month.

The dedicated countdown clock certainly sends a message, saying that the team behind the Mr. Olympia doesn’t want any last-minute problems this year. You can check out the timer for yourself at mrolympia.com, where you’ll also see the exact deadline for Kai Greene’s contract which is 5PM Pacific on Friday the 13th of May.
