EAA Max Review: Primeval Labs redefines amino flavoring

EAA Max Review

When it comes to amino supplements, taste is always a big factor. The formula does of course matter; however, it’s very rare that you come across an amino with less than the desired 5g of BCAAs per serving. Quite a few also have extras thrown in these days with things like electrolytes to improve hydration and other recovery enhancing ingredients.

Primeval labs’ EAA Max is one of those amino competitors that has a worthwhile formula combining a healthy dose of BCAAs with an added EAA blend, electrolytes, as well as an energy and nutrient delivery system. The next question is does EAA Max taste any good, which is exactly what we’re here to answer today in our full EAA Max review.

EAA Max Review

Unlike any other amino

The main reason we feel flavor is a key factor with aminos is that they’re not something you can just quickly throw back like a pre-workout or protein. Aminos are typically designed for consumption while you train or throughout the day, so it is something you’ll be sipping on over time. Thankfully with EAA Max, Primeval Labs has made it an enjoyable experience every time you take a sip.

The biggest highlight of Primeval Labs EAA Max is that it doesn’t taste like any other amino we’ve ever had. Most formulas have what we can only describe as a tart, tangy, or artificial flavor to them, although some brands are very good at masking it. Either way, up until now we’d always known what to expect when it comes to aminos and taste.

Sweet Kool-Aid like flavor

Every flavor of EAA Max has a sweet, fruit juice like base to it that feels like you’re drinking some sort of Kool-Aid. The best flavor of the lot for us has to be Primeva Labs’ Strawberry Mango as it’s the sweetest and tastiest. It is a more mango dominant recipe with only a light touch of strawberry, but the result is still quite delicious.

EAA Max Review

Our second favorite EAA Max would have to be the smooth, mellow orange recipe, Orange Sherbet, then lastly the Cherry Lemonade. The more interesting thing with the cherry is that we’ve never had a cherry supplement we’ve actually liked. Primeval Labs has changed all of that with EAA Max’s subtle, balanced, but still sweet combination of cherry and lemonade.

Redefines amino flavoring

Without sounding too over the top, for us Primeval Labs has really redefined what to expect when it comes to amino flavors with EAA Max. As mentioned earlier, they don’t taste like any other amino we’ve had, and all of the flavors are extremely enjoyable. Basically, if you’re an amino fan and looking for something different, or have yet to find one you like, EAA Max is well worth a try.
