Optimum Nutrition has launched a new pre-workout from its Pro Series of supplements, which previously consisted of three products in Pro Gainer, Pro Complex, and Pro BCAA. The latest Pro Series addition is Optimum Pro Pre, a supplement we first got a look at earlier this month.
Best Optimum pre-workout
The veteran company Optimum Nutrition has put together quite an impressive pre-workout with Pro Pre; it’s actually the best we’ve seen from the brand for as long as we can remember. It’s loaded with proven and effective ingredients, a lot of them at solid doses. It packs ingredients for all the usual pre-workout effects, although the brand appears to be pushing it primarily as a performance boosting supplement.
Optimum Pro Pre formula
A few highlights from the Optimum Pro Pre combination include 300mg of caffeine for energy, 100mg of the branded ingredient NeuroFactor for better focus, a heavy 6g of citrulline for muscle pumps, and 3.2g of CarnoSyn beta-alanine for enhanced performance.
Those four features mentioned aren’t all that’s in Pro Pre, in fact, they make up just a third of the pre-workout’s formula. Also in the mix is 200mg of rhodiola for endurance, 75mg of resVida trans-resveratrol, 200mg of theanine. 2g of the important BCAA leucine, a gram of n-acetyl l-tyrosine, a strong 300mg of KSM-66 ashwagandha, and 5mg of BioPerine black pepper for enhancing absorption of everything.
