When Redcon1 launched its unique and still very new protein bar, the MRE Bar, it didn’t have your typical selection of flavors. Instead of a traditional mix of peanut butter, chocolate, and cookie options, the brand went with Blueberry Cobbler, Banana Nut Bread, and Oatmeal Chocolate Chip.
It now appears that Redcon1 does plan on coming through with some more familiar flavor options. Following the weekend’s confirmation of a new Sprinkled Donut MRE Bar already being on the way, the brand has confirmed that a peanut butter recipe is also coming soon.
The official name of Redcon1’s peanut butter protein bar is Crunchy Peanut Butter Cup. Just like the Banana Nut Bread MRE Bar, this one looks to feature actual peanuts in the bar with a strong chocolate coating and a no doubt enjoyable peanut butter taste.
