Performix has launched a new version of its protein snack, the Performix Protein Wafer. One of the significant changes to the product is that instead of coming with two wafer sticks per pack, it has one big one which weighs the same as two of the smaller, original ones.
Macro wise, the new Performix Protein Wafer features pretty much the same numbers as the original, led by 13g of protein for its Fruity Charms flavor. Along with the protein, each Protein Wafer provides 7g of carbohydrates with a gram each of sugar and fiber, 15g of fat, and a total of 210 calories.
Moving on to the new Performix Protein Wafer’s flavors, as mentioned, one of them is Fruity Charms which was available for the original. The only other one we’ve seen so far is the entirely new flavor that the original didn’t have with the delicious looking Peanut Butter and Jelly.
The first place to show up with stock of the new, single wafer Performix protein snack is the retailer, the Vitamin Shoppe. The store has the Protein Wafer available in both of its flavors, Fruity Charms and Peanut Butter and Jelly, priced at $24.99 for a box of 12 bars.
