Ambrosia’s plant protein Planta is actually replacing HPN’s Pro Zero

ambrosia planta

Yesterday we shared details on Ambrosia’s all-new supplement release with the vegan-friendly, plant-based protein powder Planta. One of the major things we noticed with the product was that it is extremely similar in both formula and description to HPN’s well-known plant protein, Pro Zero.

While we did know that HPN’s CEO is Sean Torbati, who is also one of the three people behind Ambrosia, we still thought it was quite odd to see such a similar supplement out there. We’ve now got confirmation from Torbati as to why there is that similarity, and it makes everything much more understandable.

Ambrosia’s all-new Planta is actually replacing HPN’s long-running and reputable Pro Zero, although not completely. Basically, all of Pro Zero’s flavors will slowly be phased out and moved over to Planta which currently comes in a total of three flavors, but will eventually have nine.

From what we understand HPN’s Pro Zero will remain but only in an ultra-pure unflavored option intended for those that want the purest of plant proteins. That unflavored Pro Zero is also already out and available and can be found on HPN’s website in both 25 and 50 serving tub sizes.
