The first half of round one of the 2018 Protein Wars took place last week and it was as heated as ever. We saw more votes than any other first round in previous years, which makes us even more excited for the handful of rounds still left to come.

Eight battles took place in week one of the Protein Wars, involving 40 different protein powders. The supplements that came out on top and will move into the quarterfinals are Core ISO, Nutrabio Whey Isolate, Dymatize ISO100, Bodybuilding.com Signature Whey, Ryse Loaded Protein, Kaged Micropure, Optimum Gold Standard, and Atlhetica Best Whey.

We’ve now opened voting for the second half round one of the sixth annual Protein Wars. While the first half was an exciting group of contests, the second has some incredibly competitive match ups. We’ve got Redcon1 MRE Lite going up against Sparta Whey, and the major companies Cellucor, BSN, Cytosport, and Performix all going head to head.

As per usual you can place your votes for the Protein Wars over at proteinwars.com. You can vote in each poll once every 24 hours with voting closing at midnight Eastern Time this Sunday. The products that finish with the most votes will move on to the quarterfinals taking place next week.
