Scitec releases high-protein bonbons and collagen fueled gummy candies

Scitec Nutrition’s extensive line of products covers a variety of categories with your usual protein powders and pre-workouts through to RTDs and snacks. The European brand has now released something a little more creative than what we’re used to seeing under the Scitec name with Protein and Collagen Bonbons.

Traditionally, a bonbon is a small, chocolate-coated treat, which is pretty much what Scitec Nutrition has put together, but of course, with a healthy twist. The brand’s latest creation is a pot of individually wrapped, high protein and low sugar bonbons, available in two options.

The first of Scitec Nutrition’s new products is the more traditional Protein Bonbons, with chocolate-coated pieces packing 2.5g of protein each, coming from whey and casein. Its other macros include 750mg to 1.25g of carbohydrates with well under a gram of that sugar, with about 4.8g of fat, and 62 to 64 calories.

As for Scitec Nutrition’s Collagen Bonbons, they are gummy candies, and as per their title, they’re made with collagen as well as glycine instead of whey and casein. The macros on these are also much leaner with 1.8g of protein per piece, practically zero fat, less than 2g of carbs, under 100mg of sugar, and 16 calories.

Both of Scitec Nutrition’s high protein and low sugar bonbons come in pots of ten pieces, although not all of them are the same flavors. The Protein Bonbons are a mix of Almond Cream, Nut Cream, and Coconut Cream, while the Collagen Bonbons have two pieces each of Pineapple, Orange, Sour Cherry, Green Apple, and Lemon.
