Brazil is about to get a whole new player in the protein snacking game called Znack That, and it’s not starting out with a protein bar like most functional food newcomers. The brand’s upcoming debut innovation is a light 40g bag of light and crunchy puffs in three flavors. Being the format that it is, all of the options are more savory than sweet, including Onion & Parsley, Pesto & Parmesan, and a very intriguing Cheeseburger.
The main ingredient in Znack That’s high-protein puffs is corn flour, alongside soy isolate to give it that muscle-building balance, and various flavoring ingredients to deliver on those intricate tastes. The nutrition profile comes with 10g of protein, as mentioned, mostly coming from soy, with twice that in carbohydrates at 20g. While the carbs are on the high side, the sugar is nice and low, under 1g, and the calories come out at 167.
Znack That’s protein puffs are not fried, gluten-free, and moderately lean, and then you throw the flavors in the mix, and you’ve got an intriguing new way to bump up your protein intake. You can find out more about the Brazilian newcomer on its website, where stock will soon be available. Again, it is an upcoming functional food company, and is definitely going to have a strong start with all of the features and characteristics it has going on.
