MET-Rx’s next evolution in protein is a new version of Metamyosyn

met-rx metamyosyn

MET-Rx got quite a bit of attention a couple of weeks back when it said “Get ready to experience what the next evolution of protein tastes like”. We were quite intrigued to see what the brand had come up with; now, the mysterious supplement is here, introducing an all-new version of the legacy brand’s protein powder Metamyosyn.

Much like the version before it, MET-Rx’s revamped Metamyosyn is still a protein powder providing 24g of protein per serve from a fully transparent blend of protein sources. Of that 24g, 8g is from fast-absorbing whey isolate, 7.5g from whey concentrate, 6g from milk isolate, then the remaining 2.5g is from egg white protein.

The carbohydrates in MET-Rx’s new Metamyosyn are a little higher than we’re used to seeing at 6g with less than a gram of that sugar, 3g of fat, and a calorie count of 140. Those numbers are based on the product’s chocolate flavor, and do vary slightly across its other options.

As mentioned, the taste is one of the main features MET-Rx is pushing for Metamyosyn, and based on its flavor names; it at least sounds like a great tasting experience. The supplement is being introduced in four flavors with Chocolate Molten Cake, Vanilla Snickerdoodle, Peanut Butter Stuffed Cookie, and a unique Pineapple Upside Down Cake.

MET-Rx’s all-new Metamyosyn is available starting today through Amazon, in just the one 4lb tub size packing between 47 to 51 servings, depending on the flavor. The price on the product is $59.60, although if you want to try that creative Pineapple Upside Down Cake Metamyosyn, you may have to wait, as it is not listed just yet.
