Clean Cause tackles energy with a line of yerba mate drinks driven by a cause

clean cause energy drink

Clean Cause is a beverage company founded back in 2015 that has quite an interesting story behind it. The brand was originally created as a source of funding to support those recovering from alcohol and drug addiction, which gives a lot more sense to its name. Clean Cause actually donates half of its profits to kick start programs, and over the years, has given back a combined $682,000.

As for the line of sparkling drinks from Clean Cause, all of its products are energy enhanced, packing a reasonable 160mg of caffeine from yerba mate to provide lasting and sustained, anytime energy. The brand has two versions of its energy drink; a regular, full-color option with 8g of sugar and 30 calories per can, and a mostly white variant that takes a cleaner approach with no sugar, carbs, or calories.

Each version of the Clean Cause beverage has several flavors to choose from, with five for the regular sugar version and three for the clean, zero-calorie alternative. The brand’s regular yerba mate-based beverage comes in Peach, Lemon Lime, a unique Watermelon Mint, Peach, Raspberry, and Blackberry, while the sugar and calorie-free option has Berry Mint, Orange Ginger, and Cherry Lime.

You can purchase Clean Cause from major supermarkets and convenience stores such as Whole Foods, Walmart, 7-Eleven, and AMPM. You can also grab it directly from the brand’s website, although no matter which way you go, 50% of the profits go to its primary cause. Through the Clean Cause website, the energy drink will cost you $32.95 for a case of 12 with sample and variety packs available as well.
