La Jefa Energy is the slimmer, more compact spin-off of El Jefe, keeping the same 150mg caffeine hit instead of scaling things down to something like 112mg, like most brands do that go from 16oz format to 12oz. It launched with its own identity, female artwork, zero sugar, low calories, and not carrying over any tastes from La Jefa, with three completely new experiences in a crisp Royal Apple, tropical Pineapple Storm, and the sweet Monarch Raspberry.
That newer offshoot has not been around particularly long, but El Jefe is already showing where it is going next. Alongside Pineapple Storm, Royal Apple, and Monarch Raspberry, the latest imagery previews two upcoming or at least unreleased La Jefa flavors in the citrusy Citron and tasty Cabo Blue. It pushes the menu to five and reinforces the brand’s message that La Jefa is not just an alternate can size, but a distinct line with its own flavor direction.
