They’re not as high in protein as the brand’s original cups, although in our experience, that typically leads to more room for greater taste and texture, which we’re always hoping for with the latest from Quest.
The Quest Protein Peanut Butter Cups are essentially Quest Nutrition’s spin on the classic chocolate and peanut butter treat. The macros on the product aren’t as lean as even a popular Quest Protein Bar, but they’re not too bad as a high-protein treat. As mentioned, we have high hopes for this one, mostly because the brand had protein peanut butter cups on the market before, so it has plenty of experience under its belt.
Each packet of Quest Nutrition’s Protein Peanut Butter Cups comes with two cups that combine to provide 11g of protein, so 5.5g of protein per cup. You then have 15g of fat, a moderate 13g of carbohydrates with only a gram of net carbs, less than a gram of sugar, and 190 calories. The ingredients behind the product are fairly straightforward, including whey isolate, cocoa butter, peanuts, erythritol, and unsweetened chocolate.
