UFIT protein shakes now more eco-friendly, natural and better nutritionally

ufit eco friendly protein shake update.jpg

The ready-to-drink brand UFIT, who also has an edible item on the market in UFIT Crunchers, has revamped its family of beverages to make them more environmentally friendly, natural, and better nutritionally. The revamp’s eco-friendly side is the UK brand has switched to using bottles that are 51% made from recycled plastic and recyclable in their entirety.

Where the more natural part of UFIT’s update comes into play is that all of the protein shakes now only use natural flavors, which obviously was not the case previously. Lastly, the on-the-go protein products’ nutrition profiles have changed, where they’re entirely fat-free, leading, of course, to fewer calories.

UFIT is also saying the flavors of its protein drinks have been improved, although the options appear to be the same with its flagship RTD for example, still coming in Chocolate, Strawberry, Vanilla, Banana, and Iced Latte. To tell them apart, the repackaged and reformulated products feature a green strip around their neck, highlighting their use of recycled plastic.
