The energy drink brand Rockstar has teamed up with video game developer CD Projekt Red, for the release of its highly-anticipated, open-world RPG, Cyberpunk 2077. The beverage company has created a whole campaign around it, involving gift cards, digital comics, special edition drinks and gear, and a grand prize of a custom 1970 Ford Mustang inspired by the Quadra Type-66 car from the game itself.
The way it works is, Rockstar and Cyberpunk 2077 have created five special edition beverages. Four of the five are already available products that have been given a Cyberpunk design. They each feature a character from the game with Rockstar Punched starring the female version of V, original Rockstar with the male V, Jackie on Sugar-Free, and Brigitte on the Silver Ice flavor of Rockstar Pure Zero.
The fifth special edition Rockstar x Cyberpunk 2077 energy drink is an entirely new flavor put together for the video game with a Samurai Cola Rockstar. The product gets its title from a band of the same name featured throughout the upcoming game. You can also see the band’s logo repeated across the label design of the Samurai Cola Rockstar.
On the tabs of these Cyberpunk 2077-themed Rockstar energy drinks is a code, which you can enter into the website 2077.rockstarenergy.com. Each code will earn you a $1 Xbox gift card, access to Cyberpunk 2077 digital comics, and the chance to win daily prizes, including custom apparel and a SteelSeries headset. The codes also put you in the draw for that custom 1970 Mustang we mentioned earlier.
