1 Up is dropping some key stimulants in its reformulated pre-workouts

1 up nutrition pre-workout revamp

Within the next one to two weeks, 1 Up Nutrition is rolling out new versions of its flagship stimulant pre-workouts, the blue-colored one for men and the pink-colored one for women. There are still many differences between the two supplements, although there is an even more significant difference between the previous iterations and the ones coming soon.

1 Up Nutrition has taken out some of the more intense stimulants in its pre-workout products, with neither featuring eria jarensis, DMAE, or alpha yohimbine. They still both have a good amount of caffeine for quick, hard-hitting energy, with a total of 400mg in the 1 Up Pre-Workout for men and 75mg less in the 1 Up Pre-Workout for women at 325mg.

You can see the formula for the men’s 1 Up Pre-Workout in the facts panel above and the women’s in the one below. The key details that separate the two versions are the women’s iteration has less l-dopa and caffeine, as highlighted above. It also has less beta-alanine due to feedback from female fans saying they didn’t enjoy the pins and needles that come with it, but the dose is still intended to be enough to support performance.

One more difference from 1 Up Nutrition’s men’s pre-workout and women’s, is the brand thoughtfully added a gram of HMB to the supplement. This tweak is the result of fan feedback too, where a lot of female followers of the brand said they train fasted, with the idea being it’s there to provide anti-catabolic benefits and reduce the rate of muscle breakdown.

Once again, 1 Up Nutrition is rolling out its new and improved men’s and women’s pre-workouts in the coming week or weeks, and they’re launching in a bunch of new flavors. The brand is carrying over improved versions of its Blue Raspberry and Island Mango flavors from their respective predecessors and adding five new ones, including the likes of Rainbow Candy and Sour Peach Rings.
