Anabolic Designs is one of the reputable supplement companies out there that doesn’t have a protein powder in its lineup, despite being on the market for several years and building quite the following. This week, all of that changes, as the brand has finally put one together and introduced it, and not too surprisingly, it is far from your traditional protein product.
Anabolic Designs’ debut in the competitive and highly saturated protein powder category is “Collagen 2 Wheys” providing 22g of protein from an interesting blend of whey concentrate, whey isolate, and collagen. The collagen brings its usual benefits of support for healthy hair, skin, and nails, although there is still more to the Collagen 2 Wheys formula.
Alongside the protein, Anabolic Designs has included colostrum to additionally improve muscle recovery, a variety of 18 different probiotic strains for gut health, and a selection of vitamins and minerals. While we see some distinctly different entries into the protein powder market from time to time, this is certainly one of the more unique ones we’ve come across.
To start, Anabolic Designs is only making Collagen 2 Wheys available through its list of loyal retailers, so it’s not in the brand’s online store, or at least for now. We don’t know the price of the supplement, but it will obviously more than your typical protein powder with 30 servings per tub and two flavors to choose from in Chocolate Milk and Cinnamon Swirl.
