Revolution adds a pre, protein and gainer to its Red X brand of supplements

Red X Juiced Whey Complex Waxy Mass

The Canadian company Revolution Nutrition has not one or two, but three entirely new supplements under its sports nutrition Red X line, all of which are relatively complex formulas. The latest products from the brand are the protein powders Whey Complex and the more calorie-dense Waxy Mass. The third drop is for the much more competitive pre-workout category with Juiced.

Whey Complex

Red X’s Whey Complex is the simplest of the new supplements, giving you 22g of protein per serving with whey concentrate as the primary source, rather high fat and carbohydrates at 4g and 8g, respectively, and 160 calories. That nutrition profile is certainly not as lean as what we typically see from a whey protein powder with more protein and lower fat, carbs, and calories.

Waxy Mass

Waxy Mass is Red X’s much more calorie-dense protein powder, or mass gainer, with a hefty 52g of protein from a blend of whey concentrate and whey isolate. Alongside that, you get a hefty 172g of carbohydrates, mostly coming from waxy maize as the name suggests, and 7g of fat, with everything combining for an almost four-figure calorie count, 960 calories.

Red X Juiced Pre Workout

Juiced Pre-Workout

The third and final Revolution Nutrition and Red X product is Juiced, a pre-workout featuring a blend of commonly used ingredients, all transparently dosed but not overly loaded. Some of the bigger highlights in the product are 3g of beta-alanine to support endurance, 200mg of dendrobium, a somewhat light 500mg of tyrosine, 1.5g of creatine HCl, and a reliable 320mg of caffeine.

Where to buy

You can get a closer look at Red X’s new supplements — Whey Complex, Waxy Mass, and Juiced — through Revolution Nutrition’s website, with all of them also available for purchase. The pre-workout and protein are reasonably priced at $34.99 (27.52 USD) and $49.99 (39.32 USD), while Waxy Mass is quite expensive at $119.99 (94.39 USD) a bag of 26 servings.
