Core is bringing back its Core Balls and promises a greatly improved experience

Core Nutritionals Returning Core Balls

At the end of 2020, Core Nutritionals came out with its first functional effort in the high protein Core Balls. While the product’s nutrition profile was pretty solid, with a nice balance of protein to carbohydrates, the consistency was tough to enjoy. It had some light flavor, true to the name of each option, although the inescapable hardness, chewiness, and dryness let it down.

The reputable sports nutrition brand eventually decided to discontinue Core Balls or at least put it on hold, and now in 2022, it is resurrecting the on-the-go snack. The returning product will still go by the name Core Balls, but everything else will be different. The brand has reworked the formula and process, and promises a greatly improved experience with similarly strong macros.

One of the first two flavors of Core Nutritionals’ revamped Core Balls, Peanut Butter and Jelly, is said to have a solid 18g of protein, 24g of carbohydrates, and around 8g of fat. Another important thing to note is this time around, the nutrition profile is split across a bag of six balls instead of five, so they’ll be smaller, which will make them easier to chew with less in each bite.

Core Nutritionals hasn’t mentioned exactly when Core Balls will make their promising return, only that they’re in the works and sound like they’ll be out and available later this year.
