Protyze greatly expands the menu of its nutritious Mini Makhana snack

Protyze Mini Makhana

Mini Makhana is a unique little nut snack from the Indian sports nutrition brand Protyze, which is obviously not your traditional peanuts, cashews, almonds, or any of the other standard nuts. Makhana, also referred to as gorgon nuts, fox nuts, or lotus seeds, is largely produced in India, and Protyze wraps them into a healthy, high-protein snack that’s completely plant-based and vegan-friendly.

Protyze’s Mini Makhana previously only had one flavor to choose from in Salt & Pepper, although starting this week, that is no longer the case. The brand has massively expanded the product’s selection to four, welcoming new Sour Cream & Onion, Tangy Tomato, and the zesty lemon-themed Nimbu Chaat. It is great news for those that were already fans of Mini Makhana, as one to four flavors is a big leap.

To give you an idea of the macros you get in a 60g bag of Mini Makhana, its nutrition profile is led by a reasonable 5.3g of protein, and again, that’s plant-based protein, 3.6g of fiber, and 248 calories. Protyze has launched its new Mini Makhana flavors through its online store, where you’ll pay ₹80 (1.00 USD) a bag, and that value is the same whether you grab a single or one of the bulk bundles.
