The hardcore supplement company Apollon Nutrition has announced a second collaboration for the year, quickly following the release of its partnership pre-workout Hooligans with the Review Bros. This time around, the brand has teamed up with one of its own, in the ambassador and fitness influencer Luke Elsman and it is for another pre-workout.
Apollon Nutrition and Luke Elsman have crafted a version or spin-off of the brand’s balanced pre-workout Hooligan called Hooligan Youngblood, although it’s actually more of its own separate supplement. The formulas don’t have a huge amount in common outside of their category, with Youngblood even featuring some ingredients you won’t find in Hooligan, including the hugely popular, pump-enhancing Nitrosigine at a full 1.5g per serving.
Balanced formula
Hooligan Youngblood from Apollon Nutrition and Luke Elsman is more of a mainstream pre-workout, coming in with a smaller variety of ingredients compared to Hooligan but still balanced, supporting energy, focus, pumps, and performance. You can see the facts panel for the supplement in the image above, with 25% less pure citrulline than Hooligan to further support pumps alongside Nitrosigine.
Other key components in Apollon Nutrition and Luke Elsman’s Hooligan Youngblood include 3.2g of beta-alanine for performance, 2.5g of betaine, and pink Himalayan salt for hydration. The rest of the formula is there to power the stimulating effects, with 600mg of alpha-GPC, 2g of tyrosine, 250mg of the potent NeuroPEA eria jarensis, and a much lower amount of caffeine compared to Hooligan, but still strong at 400mg.
While Hooligan Youngblood is not entirely as loaded as we’ve seen from Apollon Nutrition, it packs a good amount of ingredients and dosages to ensure you get the sort of effectiveness we’ve come to expect. It is definitely worth noting that the price of the Luke Elsman collaboration won’t be the same as Hooligan or even Assassin, sitting at $54.95, making it the first somewhat value-focused pre-workout from the brand.
