Last year functional brand Jim Buddy’s made a major move, not only rebranding its popular and protein-packed donut but completely changing its name from Jim Buddy’s to Wow. The idea behind the changes was to make the brand and high protein product appealing to a broader audience. The Wow Protein Donut maintained its good amount of protein at 11g a piece with 5g or less of sugar and 120 to 130 calories.
When Jim Buddy’s relaunched as Wow, it did so with two flavors of the Wow Protein Donut in Chocolate and Cake Batter. Since that rebrand, those flavors have remained the only options available for the product until this month. The functional company has finally added to the menu of its signature protein snack, welcoming a refreshing, fruity taste in Blueberry, also packing 11g of protein and a reasonable 130 calories.
The Blueberry Wow Protein Donut is actually not available through the brand’s own online store; in fact, the place you need to go to get your hands on it is the retail giant Walmart, where the product is available in boxes of four at $7.98.
