Naked doesn’t keep the macros as lean in its refreshing fruit-flavored protein

Naked Nutrition Clear Naked Whey

Lifestyle, active, sports, and many other types of nutrition brands have jumped on the trend of clear, refreshing, fruit-flavored protein powders in the years following the first few supplements that brought it to prominence. This week it is Naked Nutrition getting in on the action with the all-new Clear Naked Whey, although it’s not as lean as we’re used to seeing in this type of protein powder.

Naked Nutrition’s Clear Naked Whey comes with a light 15g of protein from premium whey isolate, far below the 25g we’re used to seeing, like in Myprotein’s popular Clear Whey Isolate. That protein count is alongside zero fat but a high 4g of carbohydrates, and we say high as if you scale the product for a serving where you get that more common 25g of protein, that’ll take you to 6.6g of carbs.

Clear Naked Whey may not be as lean as others from the refreshing protein powder trend, but Naked Nutrition does keep with the theme on the flavor side in three fruity options; Fruit Punch, Grape, and Lemonade. The product’s price is $54.99 for a tub of 30 servings, which is on the high side next to its competitors, as 30 servings is plenty, although again, it only has 15g of protein in each.
